Course overview

What will I learn?

This course is designed for young people who are ready to make the transition into the workplace with guided support. You'll learn about:

  • Responsibilities of employment
  • Customer care
  • Workplace skills
  • Self-awareness about work

There's also a work placement lasting at least 190 hours.

What qualifications do I need?

For a place on the course you'll need to attend an interview and demonstrate an enthusiastic, positive attitude. You should be motivated and a good team worker, keen to enter the world of work.

What can I do after?

After successfully completing this course you'll have the skills needed to get supported or unsupported work.
