    What qualifications do I need?

    You'll need one Higher at grade C or above in Maths or in a Business subject or a Group Award at Intermediate 2. However, you can also apply with successful completion of a Business Skills Foundation Apprenticeship or if you have other relevant qualifications or experience.

    For a place on the course, you'll need to submit a personal statement and attend an interview.

    What can I do after?

    After successfully completing this course you'll have the skills needed to get an entry level role as an accounts assistant, trainee accountant, accounts technician, or a financial or management accountant.

    Or you could develop your skills further by studying another course, such as:

    • HND Accounting
    • Degree level programmes in accountancy

    Completing this course means you won't need to sit some professional accountancy exams.

    Duration: This is a fast track intensive course from January to June and you will need to commit to attend college 4 full days per week over the 18 week course program
